In my initial attempt, I applied for several artist grants to launch the Designer Rap Tour. Although declined, the application process challenged me to develop a greater business plan and inspired me to make a way from scratch. "And there's two things that are respected, perseverance and consistency."
In 2019, when asked what I would do if I did not receive the grant, I replied, "I would invest in myself and continue developing my vision regardless of how long it takes." Fast forward to 2021, and we're still progressing, building brick by brick. I bet on myself and launched the Designer Rap Tour.
